Darmawan mengatakan, Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia sudah memberikan arahan terkait pasokan batu bara dengan tingkat kalori menengah. PLN juga akan melakukan perbaikan agar penyediaan listrik berjalan lancar.
“Kami juga mempercepat proses penandatanganan kontrak para pemasok batu bara terutama medium coal yang sudah dapat penugasan dari pemerintah,” kata Darmawan dalam konferensi pers di Jakarta, Sabtu (20/6).
Darmawan juga mengatakan, saat ini proses penyaluran batu bara ke sejumlah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) di seluruh Pulau Jawa mulai berjalan. Sejumlah pembangkit tersebut antara lain:

Darmawan mengatakan, PLN akan berkoordinasi dengan Direktorat Jenderal Mineral dan Batu Bara untuk mempercepat pasokan batu bara ke sejumlah PLTU.
“Sehingga penandatanganan kontrak bisa berjalan cepat,” katanya.
Sebelumnya Menteri ESDM Bahlil Lahadalia mengatakan pemerintah sudah memberi ultimatum kepada PT PLN (Persero) terkait pemadaman listrik bergilir di Pulau Jawa yang terjadi dalam beberapa waktu belakangan.
